
UXC is an Australian-owned ASX 300 company that operates through autonomous, individually branded Business Units providing a diversified portfolio of specialised business, products and services. These businesses are organised into three separate divisions – Business Solutions, Utility Services and the Intellectual Property Ventures Group.
The Class of 2009 will be working within the Business Solutions Group. This group is involved in consulting, implementation and integration, application, and infrastructure services. These services include:
- Knowledge management
- Project and change management
- Customer Relationship Management
- Enterprise Resource Planning
- Financial and business information applications
- Technology architecture
- IT security; and data storage and management.
What does the UXC Graduate Program Involve?
Over the course of 12 months, UXC’s Graduate Program is designed to develop future leaders within the UXC businesses. Graduates will develop the skills and attributes to be valuable contributors through the many and varied roles assigned to them.
We are looking for IT oriented Graduates able to:
- Achieve results and work cohesively as a team member and potentially a Leader in a project-based and changeable environment.
- Display excellent problem solving skills and sound judgment
- Demonstrate personal drive and integrity
- Display an ability to communicate effectively coupled with a great sense of humour
In return we provide our Graduates with:
- Role-specific training to develop the technical skills required to perform effectively
- A mentoring program to promote a speedy integration into Business Units and to assist graduates to reach their full potential and to handle the range of personal and professional demands in the workplace.
- Professional Development training including presentation skills, verbal and written communication and consulting skills
When does the Graduate Program commence?
The Graduate Program will commence at the beginning of 2009, with the recruiting process kicking off in August 2008.
An intensive 2 week training block will be held in a central location with all Graduates across the participating businesses before individuals travel back to their Business Unit to commence project work (any travel, accommodation and meal costs for those travelling will be met by UXC).
The Program incorporates a comprehensive Induction, On-the-job Learning and a structured Learning and Development program (which will also give you specialist accredited skills!)
