DVT HOLDINGS LIMITED ANNOUNCES CLOSE OF TAKEOVER BID FOR USC

12 September 2002

DVT’s takeover bid for all of the ordinary shares and issued options in USC closed on
11 September 2002.
DVT has commenced the process to compulsorily acquire the outstanding USC shares
and options.
DVT and its associates currently have a relevant interest in over 93% of the USC
shares and a relevant interest of at least 90% in each class of USC options.
