Dedicated business unit meets market demand for integrated performance management solutions and consulting - 10 January 2007
Leading Australian business solutions and services company, UXC (ASX:UXC) today announced the launch of a dedicated performance management business, UXC Performance Management.
According to Stephen Mackley, CEO of UXC Performance Management, “Our customers want choice. UXC has pulled together the expertise across its operating companies in the three leading platforms: Cognos, Business Objects and SAS to offer an integrated, performance management solution.”
Formed to meet the rapidly growing corporate demand for performance management, the business unit will incorporate 40 staff and operate in UXC’s Business Solutions Group.
“UXC Performance Management addresses the market demand for integrated solutions and consulting to develop quality performance management systems and processes. UXC Performance Management provides CEOs and senior management with a clear choice of partner that can provide dedicated expertise, consultants and comprehensive performance management solutions, regardless of vendor,” said Mackley.
“For our customers, it simplifies the selection of a dedicated performance management partner that can provide independent advice on the different tools available and how to best apply them to make better management decisions,” he said.
“It consolidates the expertise, strength and capability UXC has built in Cognos, Business Objects and SAS solutions. We have a strong track record, a team of highly skilled expert consultants and a plan for rapid growth in FY07,” he said.
The launch supports UXC’s business strategy to consolidate existing businesses and acquisitions to build market leading positions in areas of existing expertise.
“Our mission is to create the premier independent business solutions organisation in Australasia,” said Cris Nicolli, CEO, Business Solutions Group. “The launch of UXC Performance Management complements our strong presence within Business Intelligence, ERP and other business solutions and services. It also provides our customers with independent, expert advice and solutions from the leading performance management providers.”
The announcement follows UXC’s FY06 record financial results including a profit of $16.6 million and revenue growth of 24 per cent to $301 million.
